THOMAS OEHLER HOPS BACK TO SCHOOL

--Trial-bike Athlete to Pop Up at Parties and On-Campus at UT and Texas State--

WHO: Mountain Bike Trials World Champion, Thomas Oehler, heads to Texas to hop around the University of Texas and Texas State…literally.

DJ Andrew Vo, University of Texas student and Nocturnal Festival participant, will spin at featured locations.

WHAT: Before the dog-days of summer are officially over and students hit the books, we pause to celebrate the tradition of “Back to School” week. This custom is recognized for its pool parties, move-in day, Sorority and Fraternity Rush, and getting back in the swing of going to class (at least the first few days).

As friends and flings reunite at hot-spots around the UT and Texas State campuses, watch out for the man on two wheels. Professional mountain bike trial athlete Thomas Oehler will interrupt the traditional celebrations with jumps, tricks, and more. He’ll wow the undergrads and show them why he is the reigning World Champion at his sport. One of the best 'all-round' trials riders in the World, Thomas has a level of style and control on a bike that leaves onlookers, as well as other riders, in shock.

Mountain bike trials is an extreme test of bicycle handling skills, over a range of obstacles, both natural and man-made.
