I ran across this Amazing Digital Magazine with a Interview with Bob Haro! If you don't know who Bob is he is one of the Main Reasons we have the sport of Flatland. He has been honored with the Title Inventor of "Freestyle BMX"! Amazing!!

Extreme Riding on One Wheel?

I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen while visiting Corpus Christi. I was riding with Aaron Frost when he showed up and blew us away with his skills on one wheel. I know its not bmx but its just as impressive and I wanted to share this footage on BMX Freestyler.
The location was a miniature skate park with movable ramps and obstacles that also had a large flat spot to ride on also. There were skaters, flatlanders and Unicyclist there for the session. It was a great time.

This was the Terry Adams "Dreams Premier" from December 6, 2008. It was also a fund raiser for the Byke Project. They were raising money for a Member of the Houston Community by the name of Richard aka Coffee.

Chris Ridner Makes the Record

Chris Ridner from www.flatmonkey.com brought in the new year performing at Party in the Wichita Falls,TX at the MPEC center which host big events and bands. He hung out with Mission 6 and the Rubyz which are both featured on Radio Disney. There was a story ran on the Times Record News Wichita Falls, TX and was featured on KFDX Channel 3 late New Years day. Flow his link to read the article from the News Paper.

First 2009 Saturday Session at the Oltorf Garage

The First Saturday Session for 2009 at the Oltorf Garage was amazing. There were riders from everywhere. Ruben Castillo, Adam DiClaudio, Jim Mckay, Chris Newman, Chris Balles, Mark Dandridge, Joya Cooper, "EZ" Chris Anderson, Julio Cotto, Alex Jonhson, Tod Miller, Chris Balles and Paul Magllanez.

The riding was insane and progression was a all around thing amongest everyone. Here is a little taste from David what the session was like. We are kicking of the year of 2009 with a BANG! We will be taking things to higher levels and keep our progression growing.

Happy New Years from the Austin Flatland Crew. This photo was from the last riding day of 2008. It was also "EZ" Chris Anderson "37th" birthday. We had a great time riding with each other and we even were able to come together for a group shot. Its going to be another great year in 2009.
