Where do you live? South Milwaukee,Wisconsin...raised
and born in Milwaukee.

What do you do for a living? Industrial painter

What got you into BMX flatland?
Back in the day a friend and I got paper routes and saw these guys doing cool things on their bikes
and asked if they could show us how. They said sure and to this day i am still friends with all of them!

Did you ever think about stopping your
progression? Actually I did for about 7 years.I
met my wife had a daughter and well even
though I stopped I never stopped thinking about
it. To make a long story short,I ran into some old
friends and the rest was history..

How did you find vintage BMX? Just browsing
the web looking for NOS items then here i am..

Did you ride in the AFA, and would you ride in a
modern day comp? In the 80's i was going to go to an
AFA with friends but could not afford the plane trip
so,no..now probably not I feel I'm to old school I'll let the
younger crowd enjoy it besides i get to nervous in front of
crowds.

What is your favorite trick to do? Honestly I love all the
old school tricks but,I love Miami Hoppers,Sqeakers,etc..

Have you created your own trick? Yes bitd I rode Z-rims
and did Bar Endo Hops and called them taco benders.I think
you can guess why!

What tricks are you currently learning?
Anything I can..LOL

What was your worst accident on a bike? Lets
see i tried a decade (bitd)and things went wrong
and well lets just say (they)hurt for a while!

How often do you ride and with whom? Well i
haven't been riding much since I tore my ACL playing
basketball,hurt like a son of a gun.As soon as I can
afford to take off work I will get the replacement
surgery.I have an expensive knee brace that i use
but,I have to be so careful.

Who are some of the riders that you look up to
past or present? All of the riders bitd,Fiola, Martin
A. ,Dizz and Rick M. My favorite of all is Ron
Wilkerson..today Trever,Day Smith and Chad
Degroot..

What is your favorite memory about riding your
bike? Just the fact that I got to ride with the coolest
group of guys in the world. They know who they are!

What is your worst memory about riding your
bike? The only memory I have is when i stopped
for those years.

What kind of bike are you riding and how is it
set up?Before I hurt my knee I had a quaman,then
I sold it thinking I will never ride again(boy was i
wrong).Now I have a 2000 Dyno w/ chocolate bars,
gt fork, cant remember all. Just threw odd parts on
it. Right now I'm redoing a 87 sport and a 85
master.

What do you think is in the future for flatland?
Well i've seen it come and go.i hope the younger
generation will keep freestylin alive!!!

heart if freestylin is in it you will never stop!
