How old are you? 32

What part of the world do you live in? Barrie, Ontario
Canada. About an hours drive North of Toronto Canada

What do you do for a living? Robotics Technician at an
auto parts supplier for Honda.

How long have you been riding Flatland? Back in 87 all
my friends on my street had freestyle bikes. I saw the movie
rad and bought my first BMX magazine

What are you best memories of the AFA days? Reading
about them in Plus and Freestylin. We lived to far away to
make it. However Ron Wilkerson brought the 2-hip contest
series to T.O. in 89 and I got to see all the pros I had been
reading about in the magazines. Some of the highlights were
seeing Hoffman pull the first 900. Everyone was going for
them that day but Hoffman nailed it first. I also remember the
sticker toss at the end of the day. All the pros on top of the
ramp and us kids on the flat bottom dieing to catch a sticker.
I miss the sticker toss. You don't see that much anymore.

What was your favorite contest to ride in? Albes contests and not really a contest but every year on
the first weekend in March, Toronto would have the annual international bicycle show. Their was always
an area set a side for the 416 flatlanders to jam together, show off their new tricks, meet new people and
have a good time. It was also a chance to ride indoors cause of the brutal winters we have. Since then
the jam has evolved over the years and has been turned into a major contest (Metro Jam). This year for
the first time in like 16 years flatland will not be included as the promoter has no interest in it.

What is your favorite trick to do? Whiplashes and
the old school lawnmower.

What tricks are you learning currently? Haven't
really learned anything new in a while. With family
responsibilities and bad weather in the winter time
when I ride I just try and keep up all the tricks I have
already learned.

What was your worst accident on a bike? One time
when learning elbow glides I was by myself and had a
good crash.The handlebar came up, hit me in the
stomach and knocked the wind out of me. I panicked not
being able to breath so I started to run home. When
I was finally able to breath I realized I was half way home
and my bike was still in the lot. I raced back thinking it
could be stolen. Luckily it was still their.

What is your favorite memory about flatlanding?
Going to the York Jam in 1994 and seeing Wheelies
on the big screen. I still to this day have the ticket
stub in my wallet that I bought from Mark Eaton.

What is your worst memory about flatlanding?
Aluminium threaded pegs.

How often do you ride and with whom? I really
don't ride with anyone. In the summer months I try
and ride after work for about an hour a day. Once a
year I make it to a Ham Jam and meet up with some of
the 416 crew and see what's going down in the new
school.

Who are your some of your favorite riders
from the past and the present? Martin Aparijo,
R.L.,Dave Voelker,Chase Bill Neuman, Kevin Jones
and Jason Brown.

What kind of bike are you riding and how is
it set up? Dyno Slammer (See the pic)

What do you think is in the future for flatland?
I think flatland will always have that certain
underground mystery to it. Only those who have
done it can learn to appreciated it.

Do you think X-Games should bring back flatland?
No, I never got to see it on T.V. anyway living in
Canada

day. Marco Morini, Jon Doker,Jay Smith, Jamie Sinyard, Taro Saito,Dave Nedo, Ben Rinnie and
