What got you into Flatland?
I rode everything back in the day. But Dorkin 3 opened my eyes to flatland!
What are your favorite memories about riding?
Rode trips, traveling and making new friends have always been a major part of riding for me but I'd have to say just cruising down the streets of my home
town shreddin with my bros back in the day. Not much has changed. Maybe I put more time in at the parking lot these days:)
One time there was this chick who I thought was pretty hot! I ask her if I rode my bike into the lake if she would give me her ... She said she would! I
remember a long make out session afterwards soaking wet. Thats proof that bmx'ers can get chicks! Good memories

What was your worst crash?
Lake jumping at this guys Buffalo farm in Peterborough when I was about 15.
They had this 5ft launch next to a 5 ft cliff into a pond that might have been 4ft
deep at best. I went straight up and straight down on my face! It was a good 10
miles from home! I was messed up! My arm and face went completely knumb. I
was vomiting and dizzy. Somehow I made it home and slept for two days.
Apparently I pinched a nerve in my neck and I still get migrains to this day!

Christianson to doing shows and traveling.

2 to 3 hours a day maybe 20 hours a week.

Where is your favorite riding spots?
TD bank downtown Toronto is the best atmosphere. The clock tower in SF is
pretty sweet too. Right now theres this school yard basketball area that rules in
Athens. Blacktop, smooth and flat!

Kevin Jones, Chase Gouin, Steve Roy, OG Marton, Matt Hoffman, Piggy and Balu in
Brazil. Theres so many! Kent Pearson, Josh Evans,Rob Christianson and everybody I've
ridden with over the years. Anybody who keeps it real just like Ron Wikerson said!

Hitchhiker whips and halfpackers feel real good on the right side! Just learned X ups
too. They feel super cool to me

Riding off my roof and into my mini ramp for Dane Beardlys video!

Cliffhangers! I'm gonna learn this trick if its the last thing I do!
What is the next comp or jam you will attend?
F.U. jam in Toronto also known as Metro even though flat is being held by the CFO
and not ten pack this year. This is a great thing by the way. Check out the 416south
website for info on the CFO.

Ride because its fun! Don't get caught up in trends. Learn it all! Theres many
aspects to BMX. So don't limit yourself. I think a good rider is a well rounded rider.
