On November 4, 2006 flatland riders from all over Texas gathered in support of Jim
P. from NY. Jim was passing through Texas on his way to California to make a new
life out west. With a truck full of personal belongings and his Sick Child, he is ready
for lives great adventure.
Jim got into Austin on Friday afternoon. Tired from a days driving and ready for some
rest. He was itching to get on his bike to do some tricks. With just a few phone calls a
few of us gathered to the Famous Oltorf Garage for a pre session. On the east coast
the weather doesn't permit for year round outside riding. The temperature that day
in Austin was high 60's low 70's. Not like his home town and quite a treat. We rode
for a few hours pulling many different tricks. Enjoying the different styles and flavor of
riding. Wanting to save something for the Jam and starting to get tired form a long
day we loaded up our bikes to go get some rest.
Saturday Afternoon everyone started to show up about the same time. It was as if
everyone was on the same page. We had riders from Houston, San Marcos,
San Antionio, Austin , Pflugerville, Buda, Leander, and Killen. The Jam lasted from
around 2 pm till 10:pm. It was a fun filled day with alot of riders popping in through
out the day. There were a lot of people taking videos and pictures through the whole
session. This is only a portion of some of the pictures that were taken.
We would like to wish JIm well as he continues to move to California. Thanks for
stopping by and Jamming with the Texas Crew!!!
